What are Nytol Original Tablets?

Nytol Original 25mg Tablets provide temporary relief for sleeplessness. With the help of a common antihistamine, diphenhydramine hydrochloride, you drift off quickly, sleep comfortably and wake up feeling refreshed. 

The active ingredient Diphenhydramine is an antohistamine which is clinically proven to help you drift off in to a deep sleep and wake up feeling refreshed. 

What is Insomnia and what can cause it?

Insomnia means that you can’t fall asleep or struggle to sleep throughout the night. 

When you are suffering from insomnia, it can make you feel tired and/or irritable and can make it more difficult for you to concentrate. Most people experience insomnia at one point or another and it usually isn’t anything to worry about.

Some causes of Insomnia are:

• Jet lag
• Stress, anxiety, or depression
• Shift work, which can interrupt your sleep pattern
• A noisy environment
• A room that’s too hot or cold
• An uncomfortable bed
• Drinking alcohol
• Caffeine
• Nicotine
• Recreational drugs
• Some medications or medical conditions

Warnings and Precautions

Do not use if:

• You are allergic to diphenhydramine hydrochloride or any of the other listed ingredients this medication contains
• You have a peptic ulcer or a blockage between your stomach and small intestine. 

Speak to your GP or pharmacist before taking if:

• You have Myasthenia gravis (abnormal muscle function)
• You have seizures or epilepsy
• You have Asthma, bronchitis, or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
• You have narrow-angle glaucoma
• You have an enlarged prostate
• You have difficulty urinating
• You have moderate to severe liver or kidney problems
• Are elderly, especially if you suffer from confusion

Active Ingredients: Diphenhydramine 25mg

Other ingredients: Anhydrous lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, maize starch, stearic acid and silicon dioxide

How do I take Nytol Original Tablets?

Dosage:

Swallow TWO tablets with water 20 minutes before going to bed.

Do not give to children under the age of 16 years old.

Do exceed the recommended dose.

Insomnia may be a symptom of a serious underlying medical illness. If sleeplessness persists for more than two weeks please consult your doctor.
